The Vampire Diaries 5.09: "The Cell"

Caroline shows up with a "tough love" therapy to help Stefan get over his
ordeal on "The Vampire Diaries". In a new clip for the new episode, Stefan questions Caroline's intention with the box, in which Silas trapped Stefan in for three months
drowning during the summer.

It appears that Caroline wants Stefan to get into the box again so that he can deal with his post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). But since Caroline is taking a drama major in college, Stefan doubts her knowledge in handling the issue.

The new episode titled "The Cell", will air Thursday, December 5 at 8/7c on The CW.

Damon is locked up by Wes and Elena turns to Aaron for help as she grows so concerned
about Damon. Aaron later decides on a desperate course of action after a conversation with Dr. Wes.

I cant wait for this to air. I love this show ♥

An interview with Emeka - An upcoming artist

Touch Spot- Please introduce yourself?

Emeka- My name is Emeka Chidije and I'm 17 years old from delta state

Touch Spot- In a short sentence, tell us what your life has been like?

Emeka- well it hasn't been a bed of roses neither has it been a bed of thorns. I'll say it has been adventurous

Touch Spot- so what did this "adventurous" life shape you into?

Emeka- It made me smart, nice, humble, fashionable, respectful and a highly talented guy

Touch Spot- hmm, an adventure that made you fashionable? I'll like to hear that story sometime

Emeka- lol sure

Touch Spot- speaking of talents, how did you start with music?

Emeka- My older sister. She loved singing and she sang always so I guess that's what created the spark

Touch Spot- I see.
What genre of music did that "spark" ignite?

Emeka- RnB. I realized I was better at this, considering the fact that it was always easy composing a song

Touch Spot- wow! Why not rap? A lot of youngsters these days go into rap

Emeka- Just like you said, a lot of young people are into rap even those that cant rap. It's wiser to do what you're good and not what everyone is doing coz that's where you'll succeed.

Touch Spot- That is mature.
Okay besides singing, what other talents do you have?

Emeka- Dancing

Touch Spot- Oh so we looking at another usher in the industry?

Emeka- lol, more like Micheal Jackson

Touch Spot- Na so!
So you are aspiring to reach Micheal's level in the industry?

Emeka- No I'm aspiring to surpass it. As they say, "shoot for the stars so when you miss, you fall on the clouds"

Touch Spot- Nice!
Yeah before I forget, you're studying mass communication in the university right?

Emeka- Yeah

Touch Spot- Have you ever had thoughts of dropping out of school to go into music fully?

Emeka- No way! I consider that a stupid move. (No offense wizkid)

Touch Spot- lol abi!
So you don't like wizkid?

Emeka- No I do. He's really talented, I just don't agree with the dropping out of school thing

Touch Spot- Cool
Well time is far spent now. I would have loved to hear the inspiration behind your track, "Till the end of time" but...
Anyway, for those out there that want to get your track, how can they?

Emeka- It's easy, just click HERE

Touch spot- Great! Thank you for your time

Emeka- My pleasure

Bombshell About Hobbs revealed in "Fast and Furious 7"

The first scene on " Fast and Furious 7" is revealed on an extended Blu-ray edition of the previous movie "Fast and Furious 6 ". According to Movies.com, the next movie will open with a funeral scene where the boys are mourning Han's death and one of them drops a
bombshell about Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson " The Rock " ). There reportedly isn't any tears shed, but Dominic Toretto ( Vin Diesel ) pays his final tribute with hoarse voice, "You were always my brother, Han. He put you in this grave, so now I'll do the same to him."

Tej (Ludacris) then solemnly says, "First Han, now Hobbs is laid up, of all people."

Han (Sung Kang) first appeared in the third film " The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" but he got killed halfway through the movie.
He returned in the fourth installment and continued to appear in the next two films, as
it's explained that those three films took place before "Tokyo
Drift".

The upcoming seventh installment which is directed by James Wan,  will take place after the events in Tokyo. It will pit the gang against Ian Shaw (Jason Statham ).
Toretto and his friends are seeking revenge for Han's death, while Ian is looking to settle the score for the demise of his brother Owen who was killed in the sixth film.

R.I.P Brian Griffin

Guess what happened on Sunday, November 24....

"Family Guy" decided to eliminate a major character for good.
Brian the family dog was hit by a car in the episode called "Life of Brian" and died. Producers thought "it could be a fun way to shake things up."

The episode began with Stewie destroying his time machine, meaning he didn't have a chance to save his best friend. There was not much time to grieve the death of Brian for it occurred within the first 20 minutes and the Griffins then adopted a new pet by the end of the episode.

Here's what the show's executive producer Steve Callaghan, spoke to E! Online
about the sudden death:
"Well, this was an idea that got pitched in the writers room and it sort of caught fire, and we thought it could be a way to shake things up," he said. "As soon as this idea came up, we started talking about what the next couple episodes could be and we got very excited about the way this change will affect the family dynamics and the characters."

Callaghan also explained why they chose to kill Brian, "It seemed more in the realm of a reality that a dog would get hit by a car. As much as we love Brian, and as much as everyone loves their pets, we felt it would be more traumatic to lose one of the kids, rather than the family pet." The new family pet is a fast-talking dog named Vinny voiced by "The Sopranos" star Tony Sirica.

"Where Brian was sort of a match for Stewie intellectually, Vinny is a good match for Stewie because he doesn't let Stewie get away with any crap," Callaghan said. "He'll call Stewie out on his b.s. freely."

Is It Right To Share Everything in a Relationship or Not?

It is said "Relationships is all about sharing everything with your partner".

Well excuuuse me! I so don't agree with this school of thought because I think relationships are killed by sharing everything. Intrigues fuels relationships; There has to be a small or large amount of intrigue in a relationship to keep it interesting.

It's just like watching a movie for the first time or finishing an adventure game, the feeling  you get when watching the movie for the first time is totally different because there's suspense, intrigue and all at that point but after that, subsequent watching is just for the fun of it and you'll eventually get tired of it. Same with finishing a game, same with relationships.

When it comes to relationships, lot of things are meant for sharing - like same bottle of wine, same interest, sometimes property to assist the other and other stuffs. And some things aren't meant for sharing,  things like;

·         Past Secrets -  Some skeletons are meant to stay in the locker and never be open ( Don't you watch horror movies? Shit happens when you go opening lockers full of skeletons).  It's nice talking about past experiences, moments and feelings but never go into details when talking about exes or habits. This can stare up jealousy and besides there's so much a person should know about you coz if anything goes wrong, it could be used against you.

·         Passwords -  This should not even be an option.  You may think you have nothing to hide but as a matter of fact, you do! Passwords to your social network accounts where you tell your friends some embarrassing secrets or a friend of yours teasing you with one of the secrets you forgot to tell your partner of and he then finds out by nosing into your private messages...not good.

·         Friends Character - Never snitch about your friends to your partner or talk about their attributes unless when needed.  Your partner may either end up having  a crush on that friend you have so much painted to be a "perfect being" or he/she may actually like those exact attributes you say your friends has, resulting in a crush that may lead to cheating. Or your partner may just end up constantly jealous whenever you say you hanged out with a friend coz you've snitched about how that friend like to parteee and flirt or worse, to him. #NuffSaid

·         Bank Details - It's just stupid sharing this

This is just my opinion anyway, if you think I got it all wrong, please comment and tell me your opinion

The Style Of a Guy

I had a conversation with my friend earlier and she was angry at the "fact" that guys got it easy when it comes to fashion. She said, "guys don't have a lot of fashion wears or fashion styles/design, which makes it really easy to make a choice when buying an outfit in a store or picking an outfit for an occasion, unlike we girls".

Well, she's not entirely wrong. Girls are interested in fashion - as long as it's in vogue and expensive, they want it. While guys aren't really interested in just fashion (except them guy-loving guys), guys are interested in style - style is a self-expression, it shows how we live/who we are e.g a guy saggin really low is either a thug or likes the thug life.

That's why a guy can have just shirts, polos, sweatshirts, suits, hoodies, shorts, tank-tops... and wear it in so many different ways and still look trendy

Enough talk, check out some of "the styles of a guy"

Daily Devotion - Why You Must Pray

"Since God already knows whats on our minds, and what we need, why then do we need to pray?" Your might want to ask. First, prayer isn't all about asking God for what you need; rather, and more importantly, prayer is about romance of righteousness: a time to fellowship in the communion of the God-kind.

Secondly, there' s a big difference between life in the natural world, and life in the spirit-realm where God lives. Just as physical laws and principles govern life in the physical world, spiritual laws equally govern the spirit-realm. Ezekiel 36: 26-36 gives us a better understanding of this. God made several beautiful promises to the Israelites about the wonderful things He'd do for them. However, very strikingly in the thirty-seventh verse, He said, .."I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock." What's God telling us here?

He's letting us know that we have to work together. Even though He wants to do great things in your life, there has to be a connection of faith; you have to give Him the permission to do what He wants to do in your life. We serve a kind, Loving, Great and Gracious God who daily loads us with benefits.

Furthermore, Matthew 18:18 says, "verily I say I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." That means "heaven" will give authority and the go-ahead for whatever you decree on earth. If you say "no!" to sickness., and bind the works of the devil in your family, or in your job, or in your own body, the Holy Spirit will endorse it. You have to take a faith-stand in prayer for things to change. This is your responsibility.

Cosplay

Cos-play- "costume play", the act of dressing up as a fictional character.

Is this fun? Yes! Is it cool? No! Is it nerdy? Hell yeah!
Whats the idea? You wake up one morning and decide to be extra nerdy and dress up like a tv character? Freaky!

Worse are people that dress up as marvel characters like superman. How're you gonna wear a pant on your trousers? Your balls will get sticky and you'll then start walking like a retarded horse. Sheesh!

Now I just saw a couple of cosplay pictures and besides the fact that it's nerdy, I think it's amazing! I'm actually thinking of trying it out. Does mean i'm a nerd? ...

Eeh i'm pretty sure everybody has once thought about dressing up as a tv figure or tried it, even if it's for picture sake.

Tell me, if you were to dress up as a fictional character, which would it be?

PlayStation 4 - Best games

The PlayStation 4 ushers a new and higher high-definition video gaming experience.  It's just an eccentric device.
The Sony PlayStation 4 has only 22 games available for download in the PlayStation store and 14 available in markets/malls/stores.

A lot of people say the PlayStation has lost its face...that is, no one likes it anymore.  They also say "as long as the Xbox is available,  PlayStation is not an option",  yet 1million PlayStation 4's were sold in its first 24 hours of release.  Somebody lied..!

Anyway here are the top games of the PlayStation 4 in case you plan on getting one:
  •  Battlefield 4
  • Need for speed: Rivals
  •  Call of duty: Ghost

  •  Assassins creed IV:  Black flag

  •  NBA 2K14

  •  Killzone: Shadow Fall

The Sony PlayStation 4 makes it possible to experience all this games in a dynamic way especially Battlefield 4..Awesome!

Daily devotion- Keys to answered prayer

If your prayers are not being answered, ask yourself:

1) How is my relationship with the Lord?
'If I regard wickedness in my heart, the Lord will not hear' - Psalm 66:18. Aything that adversely affects your relationship with God also affects your prayers.
Friendship gives you favour; intimacy gives you access.
Jesus said, 'If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.' - John 15:7

2.) How strong is my faith?
'Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.' - Hebrews 11:6

There're 3 key words there:
(a) 'Believe.' - God's deepest longing is to be believed, regardless of emotion or circumstance.
(b) ' Diligently.' - When you pray, put your heart and soul into it. Paul speaks of 'labouring...in prayer.' - Colossians 4:12
(c) 'Him .' God is not some 'force out there', He's your heavenly Father Who '...knows that you need all
these things.' - Matthew 6:32. Your highest priority should not be getting your needs met, but building your relationship with God.

(3) Am I showing patience?
'Until God's time finally came - how God tested his patience!' - Psalm 105:19. Joseph was tested by
the very promise God gave him. Can't you hear Satan whisper, 'I thought the dream said you were supposed to be Prime Minister; what are you doing in prison?' But it only looks like a prison; in reality, it's the birthplace of destiny. Joseph saw God's promise fulfilled - in God's time. And you will too!

                                                                                                                                                      - TWFT

God's Second Order.

A lot of commandments/Law/Guides in the bible are optional but few are strictly compulsory. First is Tithing-giving 10% of your earnings to God. This can't be debated. SECOND and the most ignored of them is Kindness. Every day we miss opportunities to be kind in order to save a few seconds. One author writes, 'When I treat people as obstacles, or a means to getting things done, I become a smaller man. With each brusque comment...dismissive glance...curt reply I lose a little more of myself...my relationship with God suffers.' Paul says, 'The fruit of the Spirit is...kindness...' (Galatians 5:22 NKJV), and you can't love God without being kind to those He loves. Consider some role models in the bible - · Ruth and Naomi (Ruth 1:16-17 NLT). · Jonathan and David (1 Samuel 18:3 NIV) · David and Mephibosheth (Jonathan's son - 2 Samuel 9:7 NAS) · Shunammite and Elisha (2 Kings 4:9-10 NAS) You can never regret kindness. Showing little kindness in words or action can go a long way in changing the world. When you act kind to a person, the person reciprocates and also shows kindness to another.. eventually this will dispel greed and selfishness in word. Don't wait for someone to be kind to you, start now! Og Mandino says, 'Treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend all the care, kindness and understanding you can, with no thought of reward, and your life will never be the same

"Porn can be productive for both men and women"

Scarlett Johansson is apparently pro-porn. The "Don Jon" star covers the December issue of Marie Claire U.K. and admits that porn "can be productive for both men and women." “I’m sure I should have some very well-developed view on porn’s effect on society, the ethics behind it and how it affects the kind of relationship between men and women and how it objectifies women. But I don’t really think about it," Johansson tells the magazine. "I think porn, like anything else, can be enjoyed," she adds, "It can be productive for both men and women."

In "Don Jon," Johansson plays Barbara, the girlfriend of a womanizing, porn- obsessed man named Jon (Joseph Gordon-evitt) who hides his "addiction." Eventually, Barbara discovers Jon's secret porn problem and makes a rash decision. "If I found out my boyfriend watched that much porn, I would be totally flabbergasted, for sure," Johansson admits to Marie Claire.

The 28-year-old actress is engaged to Romain Dauriac and admits that being in a relationship is all
about making compromises. "I can certainly relate to this habit of wanting your partner to just kind of fit into this mold you’ve made for them. We do place pressure on somebody to just do it the way we think it should be done," she explains. "It takes a lot of growth and searching to understand that it is the differences in relationships that enrich and strengthen the relationship, that help us evolve as people and partners," Johansson continues. "I understand that conviction; I know that is something I am guilty of."

Now cutting the whole story short, Scarlett Johansson says porn is productive. Now in all logical sense, I don't see how porn is productive..Do you?

Living a life of purpose

What exactly does it mean to live? Is it just to get born to the world, strive to survive , try to be rich and then die? or is there more to it?
A lot of people don't know what they should live for. The high rate of greed and ignorance has clogged the hearts of men thereby leaving room for only envy and lust. People see living as casting away moral values and just living for the now - YOLO (you only live once). Party like a rockstar, drink, smoke and be immoral like it's your last. I guess its way better to die caught in an immoral act so you can wake in hell that is soo fun and cool right? I guessed not!

Living a life of purpose is living a life to achieve Not living a life of self pleasures but of usefulness. Living a life for and with God can give you this.
Everything outside God i fleeting, you will surely crave more, but "seek ye first the kingdom of God and all other things shall be added unto you"

To be rid of the fulfillment feeling in your heart, you must learn to love;  Show compassion to people. Try to assist people in anyway you can. Stop being greedy and selfish instead became selfless and generous.

These are the attributes of love and God is love. So if you're fed up of your empty state and you want to start live a life of purpose, then ask its high time you make a decision to receive grace from God. Get on your knees and pray.!
