The 10 Million Dollars Mercedes-Benz

I was doing a little reading on the Forbes website when I stumbled upon this amazing story.  (It's probably old but...)

The Mercedes Benz Von Krieger 540k special roadster is a real piece of art said to be worth $10 million or more.

You'll be amazed at the history of this old piece and why it is worth so much.

Do You Need a Breakthrough?

'...They called the name of that place Baal Perazim'  -1 Chronicles 14:11 NKJV

The Bible says: 'The Philistines...made a raid on the Valley of Rephaim. And David inquired of God saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?" The Lord said to him, "Go up, for I will deliver them into your hand." So they went up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. Then David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water." Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim [which means breaking through].' (1 Chronicles 14:9-11 NKJV)

To get a breakthrough in your life you must do what David did:

(1) He reminded himself that 'the Lord had made him king' (1 Chronicles 14:2).
You must remember Who called you, and Whose spirit lives within you. God called David, and He's called you too.
When you know that, you won't let the enemy put you down or push you around.

(2) He enquired of the Lord , "Shall I go up against the Philistines?' (1 Chronicles 14:10 NKJV)
Have you talked it over with the Lord? God doesn't respond to your need, He responds to your obedience. When you've obeyed Him, you'll win.

(3) He gave God the credit: 'God has broken through my enemies.' (1 Chronicles 14:11 NKJV)
Sometimes God will do it for you, other times He will do it through you. That's why
you must hear from Him before you make a move. You can't do God's part, and He won't do yours. It's not just a matter of 'doing something', it's a matter of doing what God tells you! When you do, you'll get a breakthrough."

Get God's Opinion (2)

'Don't let anyone look down on you because...' - 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV

Try as you may, you will never fulfil a dream that is not your own. Stop and think about your personal history.

How have your plans, goals and desires been influenced by others?
Is it possible your dreams are the result of who your parents think you are?
Who others think you are?
Who you wish you were?
Or are they the result of who you really are and what God meant you to be?

You will live the life for which God created you, only after you figure this out. When a dream is right for you and you are right for a dream, the two cannot be separated from each other.

TS Eliot said, 'Whatever you think, be sure it is what you think; whatever you want, be sure it is what you want.'

Paul told Timothy, 'Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young.' Evidently certain people in the early church thought Timothy was too young and inexperienced to be in leadership. But Paul thought differently; and so did God.

Cecil G. Osborne writes, 'The young child has no clear picture of himself. He sees himself only in the mirror of his parents' evaluation of himself... A child who's told repeatedly that he is a bad boy, or is lazy, or no good, or stupid, or shy, or clumsy will tend to act out this picture which the parent or some other authority figure has given him.'

Let God, and God alone, tell you who you are and what you should do. Get His opinion, for in the end it's
the only one that counts! "

How To Know She's Into You

When it comes to asking a girl out, especially if you genuinely like her, your mind starts to go on overdrive. You start thinking stuffs like, Does she like me? What if she doesn’t and asking will spoil our friendship? What if she likes me and I’m just over thinking this? How can I be sure?
The thing is, you can’t be 100% certain that she likes you unless you get the courage to ask her out and get the answer. This post though is to help you get enough courage to ask the “big question” (not as big as “will you marry me” so chill)

#1. She makes an effort to communicate with you: A girl that is into you will want to talk to you more. She’ll call you to know how you’re doing and even text you at leisure. A girl that isn’t into you would not bother calling or texting you when you don’t call or text. This is pretty Duhh’ish.

#2. She laughs at your jokes:  Girls that are into you laugh at your jokes even when they are stupid and not funny. You’ll realize that some girls that once used to laugh at your jokes now see the same thing as you being silly and not funny – It’s because back when you thought you were funny, they had a crush on you so you made them smile, not really your jokes. But now the feeling is gone so if the joke aint funny, they aint laughing.

#3. She will try to impress/please you: This is why she laughed at your jokes. This is also why she acts different around you (things that don’t thrill other girls, thrills this one).

I was talking with one of my ex some years back and the conversation got really boring so I asked her “how come we could talk for hours before and never get bored?” and she said, “back then I wanted to impress you so I started liking stuffs you  liked so we would have something to talk about and I’ll seem fun to you, but now I’m not interested in pleasing you so if you don’t like anything I do, that’s your problem” Harsh much but it’s the truth.

Note: Every girl is unique. Noticing all these signs in a girl may not mean that she’s into you. It’s up to you to get to know her better.

If you never ask a girl out because you can’t be certain she’s into you, you’ll die lonely. Sounds gloomy right? So just do it, summon the courage and ask her – Realize that sometimes there will be rejections and other times acceptance

2014 Rolls Royce Wraith

Pardon my absence from here. I let my mind wander for a while and it refused to comeback... (not been focused lately). Well thank God it's back, I can now focus.

In my period of wandering, I stumbled upon an explicit car - The Rolls Royce Wraith.

Their's a sense of elegance and grace coupled with a bold, confident and daring feel to the cars exterior design - displaying that this car is for made-men.
.

The craftsmanship of the wraith is just insane.

The first amazing feature you'll notice is its coach doors (left-right door opening system), which then reveals the amazing interior and little features on the doors.

When you then step into the car, it feels like you've just been ushered into a luxurious yacht. It has a spacious 4-seat interior with beautiful interior designs - At night the interior illuminates with what looks like a thousand stars across the sky on the roof lining - sickest interior effect init?

This is a car made for driving, that is, it is meant to be driven not driven in - so the wraith doesn't come with a lot of self-driving aides.

The wraith has a foresight ability that cannot be overlooked. It comes with a Satellite Aided Transmission. This aid is used to predict the road ahead, whether sloppy, rough, uphill...which it then automatically chooses the right gear on the 8-speed automatic transmission delivery without any unnecessary gear changes. It's not so easy to explain though, so I guess you'll find out yourself if you get the car.

It possess 624hp from a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine. It has a top speed of 155mph which makes it the fastest Rolls Royce.

Crazy thing about this is that this car weights approximately 6,000lbs yet it can do 0-60 in 4.4 seconds - Uhum...

This is no doubt a dope ride. If $300,000 was all I had right now, I'll so totally get it. But then I'll be a broke nigga in a Rolls Royce

Modern African Print Style

I was talking with a couple of friends earlier and somehow somehow, the conversation led to talking about African wears (bored much yeah).
I then got to know that a lot of Nigerians are forming 'I don't wear such".

Now I don't know why they don't like it but I love it, especially on the ladies.

The African wear has evolved from being worn in that old native style..

..to something more trendy and classy. It can now be worn to any occasion without looking out of place, depending on how you 'bring it'.

Now thats the pros of the african print, you can tweak it to any style you want and it'll fit. It doesn't always have to be the native style, you can make it modern and allow your imagination run wild in picking styles (I think it'll be nasty as suits tho).

Even these celebs agree with me

So I don't care what your excuse is, if you don't have trad in your wardrobe, you are PRIDE'ING

DailyDevotion - Be Passionate About It

"A mother eagle knows that if she waits for her young to get out of the nest and fly on their own initiative, it'll never happen. So she pushes them out! That's radical, but they learn to fly and fulfil their destiny.

John Maxwell says: 'To succeed in life we must stay within our strength zone, but continually move outside our comfort zone.

Have you ever accomplished anything of significance while you were in your comfort zone? 'Think about it. The answer is 'no', innit? We dont want to look foolish or fall flat on our faces. And as we get older we tend naturally to become more complacent. That's a problem, because complacency kills passion. It reduces us to average. It clips our wings and keeps us from soaring, no matter how much we want to. It takes initiative to succeed at anything in life. It requires us to take risks.

Playwright George Bernard Shaw said, 'I'm sick of all the reasonable people: they see all the reasons for doing nothing.'

Passion prompts us to leave your comfort zone and cross the threshold of our doubt. It pushes us out the door, so that we can get going on the journey in life that God designed for us.

It's said that when you get to the door of opportunity you're not supposed to knock -you're supposed to push!

So step out in faith, take the initiative, and believe that God is with you."
