Happy Sunday to you all.
Just got back from church and I was ready to get into my Sunday ritual - watching animes (because Sunday is my only really free day). But I'm up on the latest happenings on all my favorites... to cut the short story long, I'm bored.
So I decided to just write a list; The Top Ten animes out there.
I'm not going to explain what an anime is. If you don't know what it is, don't bother yourself. Read another post of mine :)
10. Naruto
summary:
Naruto is one of the greatest anime out there, the 10 place is not fitting for it but.. they are lost. The story has become 'anyhow'. Sasuke has a rinnengan? Rikodu Sennins mother is back to life? Absolute rubbish, but a must watch (I'm contradicting myself init)
9. Bleach
Summary:
Just like Naruto, this anime is not fitting for this position. It is so interesting and battle focused but yeah..lost story line also, too much meaningless battles.
8. Shingeki no Kyojin
Summary:
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titan. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a colossal titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.
7. Sword Art Online
Summary:
The players of a virtual reality MMORPG, Sword Art Online, are trapped and fighting for their very lives. After it is announced that the only way to leave the game is by beating it, Kirito—a very powerful swordsman—and his friends take on a quest to free all the minds trapped in Aincrad.
6. Hunter x Hunter
5. Fairytail
Summary:
Fairy Tail is an anime set in the magical world known as Earthland, where there exists a Mage's Guild known as Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is the most notorious and famous Mage's guild in the world and is widely considered to be the strongest guild ever created. This ever popular guild is stationed in Magnolia Town within the kingdom of Fiore and is ruled by the Guild Master, Makarov. This story begins with a 17 year old girl named Lucy Heartfilia, who wishes to become a full-fleged Mage and join one of the the world's most prestigious Mage's Guild, Fairy Tail. One day, out of sheer coincidence, Lucy meets a boy named Natsu, who turns her world upside down. What makes Natsu so special....well, he is known as Salamander across the world, and he just happens to be one of Fairy Tail's most infamous Mages.
4. Death Note
Summary:
This is just...it's just..
3.FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Summary:
In this world there exist alchemists, people who study and perform the art of alchemical transmutation - to manipulate objects and transform one object into another. They are bounded by the basic law of alchemy: in order to gain something you have to sacrifice something of the same value.
The main character is the famous alchemist Edward Elric - also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist - who almost lost his little brother, Alphonse, in an alchemical accident. Edward managed to attach his brother's soul to a large suit of armor. While he did manage to save his brother's life, he paid the terrible price of his limbs.
To get back what they've lost, the brothers embark on a journey to find the Philosopher's Stone that is said to amplify the powers of an alchemist enormously.
2. Lelouch of the Rebellion
Summary:
The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11's. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11's who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia's brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.
1. One Piece
Summary:
This is funny, interesting, suspense filled and battle filled.. it's got it all.
This is it. The ten best out there.
If you think the list is wrong, some were overrated or underrated? comment.
If you know an anime that is surposed to be in this category, comment so I'll check it out.
Thank You
